Insure your fun on the water with Markel’s personal watercraft coverage.

Damage to your PWC - This personal watercraft insurance coverage is Actual Cash Value (ACV), which is the cost to repair or replace your PWC, less depreciation.

Watercraft Liability – Markel’s personal watercraft insurance coverage will pay damages for bodily injury or property damage for which you become liable through ownership, maintenance, or use of your insured PWC. This includes liability for property damage to another vessel. It also includes watersport liability coverage at no extra charge. In addition, watercraft liability includes uninsured boater coverage to help if you are in an accident with another boater who has no watercraft insurance. Your personal watercraft insurances rates will be based on your selected liability limits ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000.

Medical Payments - This PWC insurance coverage will pay the cost of necessary medical treatments resulting from an accident causing bodily injury to any person while using the personal watercraft with your permission. Coverage of $1,000 is included with your policy and limits of up to $5,000 are available for an additional charge.

Towing - Your PWC insurance coverage includes towing coverage that will reimburse the reasonable cost you may incur (up to the limit purchased), resulting from services to your PWC if help is not available, and you must obtain commercial assistance:

• Towing to the nearest place where necessary repairs can be made.
• Delivery of gas, oil, parts or loaned battery (excluding the cost of the items themselves) or emergency labor, while away from safe harbor.

And, since we really appreciate our customers, we include $500 towing coverage at no charge. You can also purchase higher limits if you prefer.

Personal Effects - This personal watercraft insurance coverage may be purchased to protect the contents that you keep on your personal watercraft. Your policy includes $500 of personal effects coverage. Some examples of personal effects are:
